چکیده

The finite element model of suspension bridge was established according to the actual engineering in Southwest area China. In order simulate random ground motion accurately and efficiently, orthogonal function modeling method based on Priestley evolution spectrum theory is adopted. dimensionality reduction simulation realized, simulated samples are input into carry out time history analysis. Finally, seismic response bearing pylon analyzed important conclusions drawn.

Application of Single-Frequency Time-Space Filtering Technique for Seismic Ground Roll and Random Noise Attenuation

Time-frequency filtering is an acceptable technique for attenuating noise in 2-D (time-space) and 3-D (time-space-space) reflection seismic data. The common approach for this purpose is transforming each seismic signal from 1-D time domain to a 2-D time-frequency domain and then denoising the signal by a designed filter and finally transforming back the filtered signal to original time domain. ...

Influence of Ground Motion Duration on the Structural Response at Multiple Seismic Intensity Levels

This paper aims to investigate the effects of motion duration on the structural seismic demands, seeking potential correlations between motion durations and structural responses at several seismic intensity levels. Three seismic intensity levels with 100years, 475years, and 2475years earthquake return periods (RPs) are first considered for correlation computations. Spectrally matched ground mot...

Seismic response analysis of high-speed railway vehicle-slab ballastless track-bridge system under near- fault pulse ground motions

This paper presents a finite element method (FEM) framework for the dynamic analysis of coupled vehicle—bridge systems under nearfield /far-field ground motions. A train car with two bogies is assumed to be represented sufficiently by a discrete, rigid multi-body system with thirty-eight degrees of freedoms (DOFs). The normal Hertzian contact theory and the tangential Kalker linear theory modif...

seismic ground response analysis of unsaturated soil deposits

seismic ground motion is profoundly affected by geometrical and mechanical properties of soil deposits overlaying bedrock. local seismic ground response of saturated soil deposits was studied in literature by applying the effects of soil stress state and index properties on the strain-dependent normalized shear modulus reduction, g/g0, and damping ratio, d, curves in an equivalent linear analys...

The Effect of Soil Type on Seismic Response of Tall Telecommunication Towers with Random Vibration Analysis

Random vibration analysis of tall structures faces multiple problems due to the large number of elements and high degrees of freedom; that is why this type of analysis is mostly used in simple structures and low degrees of freedom. In the past two decades, changes have been occurred in this type of analysis to be used in complex structures and the large number of elements. Pseudo-Excitation Met...
